My Students

My students this year will be some energetic, helpful, life-long learners. Students in my room this year are coming from low income and diverse families. I want to let them use their mind and hands to create projects with the supplies that I'm asking for.

My students need new chair packs.

These are backpack like covers that fit over their chairs. We have tables instead of desks so we use chairs around our tables. So, that takes away from storage for each student and to make up for that I use chair packs.

Chair packs have a pocket for storage and they just slip over the back of the chair. The ones I have are torn or the name plate holder is no longer there and so things don't stay put. I really could use new sturdy ones for my class.

My Project

I'm in need of these red and blue chair pockets, because the ones I have are torn, or can no longer hold the students' name tags. I have used the ones I have for 4 years and they just don't last long with all the use they get.

We do not have desks for kindergarten, so we have tables and chairs.

I use baskets on the tables to keep all the students' supplies in. But, that itself becomes a problem because students want their own supplies and others take them and then the arguments start.

Chair pocket with storage will be such a great supply for my students and they will be able to keep their own supplies with them.
