This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books, combined with BrainPOP, will enhance the classroom learning for our unit about the causes of the American Revolution. A classroom library is a place that students use daily for research and pleasure. Each year when we finish the unit about the causes of the American Revolution, students have a debate between the patriots and stories or a writing project about an event that led to the Revolution. BrainPOP will visually enhance their reading by explaining the circumstances to students.

With these new books and BrainPOP, students will be able to see, read, and learn about the people and events that were the spark that led to the American Revolution.

They will be able to choose books on topics that interest them and learn the information that will allow them to think critically about the formation of America. Since the best way to increase reading ability is to read more, these books will continue to help my students grow stronger.
