This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love helping my students with various disabilities. Being able to meet their physical needs shows that they matter and then they are willing to give more effort in class. I teach at a low-income school and they don't have the luxury of many things that other kids have or do. Ninety percent of students qualify for free lunch. I have been teaching for 31 years and this is the poorest school I have ever taught in. There are many needs and this gift will meet one of them. Thank you.
