My Students

My students are remarkable and diverse! They are full of energy, embrace technology, and love to interact and collaborate. They represent a wide variety of ethnicities, family structures, socio-economic backgrounds, and ability levels.

My students are part of Generation Z, which means they take in information quickly and learn differently than students in the past.

They are innovative problem-solvers who require constant engagement, new activities, and lots of creative ways to learn. I am constantly looking for new ways to inspire and motivate them.

My Project

Attending the Get Your Teach On conference will help me develop new and innovative teaching strategies to keep my students engaged. Hope and Wade King are rockstar educators and they will be sharing the most current research-based strategies for lighting my classroom on fire! I am anxious to learn their tips, tricks, and best practices for building a successful and engaging classroom.

My students deserve the very best and I'm always looking for new ways to teach our rigorous 2nd grade content in a way that is lively and appealing.

I want to incorporate strategies that allow my students to be fully engaged in their learning and inspire them to be lifelong learners. This project will help cover the cost of registration for the 2-day conference in Orlando.
