We live in an age where technology is ever changing and moving forward at an incredible pace! Our students are capable of doing so much with technology if given the opportunity and guidance.
At our school, students' love of the arts, leadership, and technology is fostered every day.
Although our students are only in 2nd (and next year) 3rd grade, they have learned how to create presentations, navigate, and teach other students/ staff how to use apps, and feel empowered when doing these tasks.
My Project
It is our goal that with these ipads, students will be able to develop their 21st century technology skills through apps and creating projects that will show us mastery of the standards. We want students to identify their intelligences, and embrace them through technology.
These ipads will allow differentiation to happen in every subject with ease.
We would like to use our ipads in subjects such as language arts and math. Our goal is to use apps to tell digital stories, research, read on EPIC! books, and learn how to type on processing apps such as keynotes and pages. Having the ability to be almost 1:1 will help our students immensely!
