Help me give my students essential supplies that we have run out of: paint refills for watercolor sets, 12x18 inch drawing paper, masking tape, and other essential and basic materials will benefit everyone in the art room.
My students are creative, imaginative learners, who thrive in the art studio.
The students that come to the art room are a highly diverse group of learners who come from a variety of socioeconmic, educational and linguistic backgrounds.
Nearly 33% are English Learners and about 55% are low income students. In the art room, this diversity is a great strength because the arts cross all boundaries, languages and abilities, allowing each student to reach their highest potential.
In my classroom we strive to use our imaginations so that we can all flourish and become our best selves.
My Project
We have done some amazing art projects using watercolors this first semester. 150 students have used just 24 watercolor sets over and over again, and they are just about empty. Replenishing essential materials will ensure that all art students this year have quality supplies.
The joy that students exude when they create their beautiful artwork is priceless and so much fun to see.
The most recent project, explosion books, was wildly successful and every single student in the art room made a most gorgeous book. Your support helps all of our students create using quality art materials that don't run out. Thank you so much!
