My Students
Please help us support our wonderful group of smart, loving, energetic students with and without Special Needs. Our families come from culturally and economically diverse backgrounds and the Covid-19 crisis has hit our community hard.
Please help us ensure our Special Needs program can get high-quality books to keep our students learning at home. Many of our families don't have access to books now that schools and libraries are closed.
My Project
I am a teacher in an inclusion preschool program. Our diverse program is made up of 34 smart, curious, kind and hard-working 4 and 5 year-olds with and without Special Needs. While quarantined they are unable to access books from school or the public library.
Please help us get high-quality children's books into the hands of students who need them most. I will deliver these books to the homes of our students, using safe social distancing. Please help prepare these students to succeed in Kindergarten. Access to high-quality books is one of the main predictors of school success. Please help!
