My kindergarten students are sweet, kind, and eager to learn. We live in a Title I rural area and I teach an inclusion classroom. The children are sweet and accepting of all students. They are happy each day they come into the classroom.
I love seeing their kindness towards each other - the love they show each other amazes me each day.
I want to guide them and provide them with everything they need to start their educational journey. I want them to grow into their best version of who they are and are capable of being.
My Project
Learning great mathematical skills in kindergarten builds a math foundation in which will be built upon in each grade.
Math activities with manipulatives are essential in helping students learn beginning math skills and strategies.
For the children to get their hands on manipulatives such as these, makes a great impact on their learning. From learning how to count, number identification, learning shapes, addition/subtraction, telling time and counting money, children will learn essential skills and have fun learning. These activities are hand chosen and will make a strong impact on the learning, which will lead to academic success.
