This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
If you want to see terrific kids, help fund our project and see the pictures of my class. These children are so fun-loving and full of life. Each day, not only are they learning, but I am also learning new things from them.
Many of these children come from low-income homes.
It is very hard for them to get supplies and the items they need to help them in life. They deserve to have the very best. They attend a wonderful school; however, like many schools, money has become an issue.
My Project
Spring is right around the corner. Children get very thirsty through out the day especially when it’s warm. The children need to have drinks available to them throughout the day. They do have access to tap water but it’s not always clear and I won’t give it to my kids. I have had bottles of water and juice in my classroom and they are almost gone. Children feel better, work harder and are happier when they are hydrated. I don’t want my kids to ever have to be thirsty. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal.
