Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

In my classes, there are an eclectic group of students. There are students who have a variety of challenges such as difficulties in reading, low socioeconomic levels, and a need to be stimulated to learn. Despite all these challenges I find myself wanting to make sure they ALL have the opportunities to be the stars I know they can be! Help me help my students know that someone cares about their success and wants them to have ALL the tools needed for them to succeed.

My Project

Help my students take full advantage of the technological devices. We need portable multi-outlet 25 ft extension cord reels. These devices will allow multiple students to connect to power far away from the nearest wall socket. Technology has become a huge part of my students' lives. So many times my students will come to school with drained computers. Even if the devices come in 100 percent charged, they can easily burn through the battery if they are doing tasks like virtual labs or video recording. As devices age, the battery gets even worse. Help our science students have reliable power sources at school not only to use their Chromebooks but for other science equipment such as microscopes by donating to this project. Thank you.
