My Project

Education in the 21st Century continues to evolve in exciting ways. The continuous infusion of technologically innovative instructional tools into my classroom has opened up incredible opportunities which didn't exist just a few years ago. My students have embraced these changes and are ready to move to the next level!

A challenge, though, has been rethinking, restructuring, and reorganizing my Montessori classroom to accommodate one-to-one technology and fuse it with dynamic classroom experiences and materials.

Charging towers and headphones allow students to stay connected and ensure that instructional content is accessible to all students. Storage bins and hanging folders keep papers and manipulatives orderly. Meanwhile, maintaining a culture of being present and demonstrating respect for ourselves, our school, and our environment remains at the forefront: additional tools, such as the books and cards included in this project, will encourage the reflection and inspiration necessary to strengthen our classroom community.
