My Students

Teaching at my school is so much fun! My students are enthusiastic, driven, and smart! I teach several different business and marketing courses: Web Dev, Digital Literacy, Exploring Business and Marketing, Business Office Specialist, and Digital Business Applications.

Students in my classes learn a wide range of things such as digital citizenship, economics, business skills, and how to run a school store.

Our school store is so much fun and gives my students the opportunity to use the skills they are learning in the classroom in a real world working scenario.

My Project

Students in my Exploring Business and Marketing course get the awesome real world experience of running a school store. My students get to pick what we sell at the store and how many points to charge for the items. Students at our school earn behavior points in all of their classes and they use those points to shop at our store.

My students are always coming up with fun ideas of what to sell at the store from stickers, school supplies, snacks, etc....They are really excited about the idea of getting a Cricut Maker to make personalized items at our shop.

They also want to get a cotton candy machine. I think both of these items will bring in a lot more business to our store.
