Help Our Virtual Lunch Bunch With Ice Breakers and Games!
Help me give my students support with their feelings and emotions during this unique time. These games, books and conversation starters will provide fun learning opportunities when we have our weekly on line lunch.
Our school has been closed since mid March. We have over 550 children pre-K through fifth grade. Our school has loaned computers to families the last three weeks. Lunch Bunch was created for connecting to my kids for a time to have fun and be light hearted! Having conversations while at school is natural, however, over the computer can feel challenging.
These games and books, are conversations starters and ice breaker games can bring to life our virtual lunch bunch!
Our school is 100% free and reduced lunch. Our school is full of hard working families and brilliant children who need a strong social and emotional foundation to navigate through challenges and setback.
We started a weekly lunch bunch in addition to our on line classes. The goal of every conversation is to strengthen our communication, understanding and continue building positive social skills. These books, games and ice breakers will help maintain our bonds. With everyone quarantined in the house, the question "what's new" has become null and void.
I want to try and make life feel more normal, these games will help us be more interactive!
With the fun questions, interesting conversation will follow! The different subjects of topics will appeal to all grades in our school. I am excited to venture into this new world, we just need some critical thinking, self esteem building topics and games to talk about!!
