Help Our Students That Have Been Displaced by Hurricane Florence
Help me give my students essential hygene items that will help them feel a little more comfortable while they have been displaced from their home due to Hurricane Florence.
My school is made of students from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. Some of the students in our school come from families that have grown up in this area and many are from many other places. This creates a population of diverse students with many different ideas, beliefs, cultures, and personalities.
My school a Title I school in a rural area that is growing quickly.
Many of the students in my school come from low-income homes that live check to check. There are also students who come from middle-class families.
My Project
Many of our students have been displaced from their homes due to Hurricane Florence and do not have any toiletries or things to help them feel more comfortable. SImple things like toothpaste and shampoo can help their situation be a little more bearable until they have somewhere else to live.
Hurricane Florence has forced many to evacuate their homes due to flooding and wind damage.
Many of these students' homes have been flooded and they no longer have a home to go home to. Please help us help them feel a small piece of comfort while they wait on a new home.
