This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are extremely excited about learning music and show up with smiles on their faces every morning to general music class. They weren’t fortunate enough to get a music teacher last year and we have time to make up. In order to develop their skills to the level of their capabilities, we need access to instruments for everybody interested in joining band. Please help me include all the precious kiddos who are interested in playing flute in our school band. Our school motto is “SOAR” (Safe Optomistic Accountable Respectful) and that’s just what they’ll feel like they’re doing with these incredible new instruments.
