My Students

Greetings! What can I say? I teach some of the most incredible, nicest, and hard working 7th graders that you will ever meet!

But weed need a classroom set of dictionaries, yes, good old fashion print dictionaries... please help!

Now it's time to challenge them to exceed their own expectations.

These young men and woman come from diverse backgrounds, but share a common goal to succeed. With your help, we can help them succeed. This is an incredible opportunity for them, which may be the catalyst for success in their educational life.

My Project

The use of a dictionary (with your help), will become a daily activity in my classroom. A dictionary helps the student explore words and enrich their daily vocabulary. As they use the dictionary, they create a relationship with the printed text, that is unlike any other experience in school, except, maybe for a novel.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

A dictionary is a cost-effective tool that a student can reach for in time of need or confusion. It is a tool to challenge them, all the while enriching their academic life.
