My students need resources to be able to tour their productions to the local elementary schools.

The Gryphon Theatricals are in their 2nd performance season. I teach children 9-12 grades both in-school and after-school. Our first year, we performed "Our Town" and "The Music Man". This past year, we went to Regionals for the 1st time performing "Little Women" and in the Spring, performed "The Wiz"!
I teach at a Title I high school in North Carolina where several of my students come from low income, single family homes and 100% percent of the student body receives free breakfast and lunch.
We are going into our theatrical Season Three at my school and the kids are such an inspiration to the children in our community.
We live and work in a high poverty community and the majority of our students have never been to see a live theater production.
Over the past two years, we've produced and performed shows here at our school, but I would love to reach out to community even more and bring the shows to them. Musicals with stories taken from literature that the elementary students are reading about and seeing them performed live which will deepen their learning and understanding of the content.
With that, we will need a wireless sound system. Last year, we toured a storytelling show with no music to the school. Although the children loved it, it proved challenging as the acoustics in school locations were not good. I want to provide a wonderful opportunity for the next generation and hope that you will help inspire these children to build connections in their community.
