My Students

My students love to be active and this basketball equipment would go a long way to making sure they stay physically fit and active throughout the school year. My students only have physical education once every seven school days but many play on our intramural sports teams. They really need this equipment so that we can improve as a basketball team as well as learn the necessary skills of teamwork and leadership. This basketball equipment would not only be used by our basketball team but also all of our students when we teach our basketball unit during physical education.

My Project

My students need new basketballs as well as a new game ball for when we play other teams. Our basketballs are all worn out from playing so much. Most of our basketballs are so worn out that they don't have any grip at all. We play about 11 games each season and new basketballs are needed so that we can improve as a team. Last season we improved to 7-4 after only winning 4 games the season before. My students are almost all from low-income households so they would greatly appreciate any donations for our team. Please help our team have a successful season!
