This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our basketball team has been very successful on and off the court but they lack the resources to get everything they need year in and year out. Many of these kids will one day go to college for free due to their athletics and academics. Please support their endeavors.

Our student athletes have won 2 out of the last 3 state championships in basketball and have also been very successful off the court.

Many of them come from poverty stricken backgrounds and their families lack the resources to acquire proper equipment. The school and district have also faced unprecedented cuts across the board that have prevented purchases like these.

My Project

We are asking for 1 basketball and several water bottles to be used during practice and games in this upcoming season. We have run very low on basketballs due to wear and tear and they need to be replaced very often. We are asking you to help us get just 1 basketball with this project.

Helping this group of young men will help them achieve great things this year.

We expect the best out of these young men in the class and in the court and we also want to provide them with the needed resources as well.
