Help Organize Special Education Math Class

Help me give my students an organized learning environment. These shelves will help maximize the space by students having an assigned place to keep unneeded materials during a math class that moves around during learning.

My Project

This is my first year at this school and I want to make the room more welcoming and accessible to my special education math students. I have been teaching for 19 years special education and the last 7 have been in math.

In a modern math class, we move around multiple times during a lesson.

Having backpacks underfoot is not only a distraction, but hazardous as we walk around. These shelves will help the students take out just the needed materials for each class and have their things in a safe place in the room.

As a special education math class, it is important to have a safe place for things near by and this will also help keep things organized in a population of students that struggle with organization. This helps with organization because students will not be able to place papers randomly in their backpack during learning time. Also not by having their backpack there they are more focused on learning. Please help me organize and get a safe place for students' things as I start in this building in my new classroom.
