I teach 21 wonderfully diverse first graders in an urban setting. Our school is also an inclusive school. Every classroom has students with special needs.

In my classroom the first graders are busy all day learning so many different subjects. The students are busy using many different supplies and workbooks. I am teaching the children to be responsible with their materials. They are asked to put everything they use in its proper place. From the many different types of paper, to the pencils and markers. They have at least four different workbooks to keep track of. The problem is that in my old style classroom where there are so few cabinets and spaces to store things the supplies and materials are disorganized.

We need furniture that has spaces for paper and pencils and books and work. The two pieces of furniture I am asking for are a birch wood mobile classroom organizer and an easy access supply center. They both have places for the students to place all of their supplies and materials. This furniture will last for years and years and help so many students keep organized.
