My Students
This upcoming school year, I am taking on a new challenge. I will have the privilege of working with students of all grades in small groups to enhance their math skills. The wonderful students at my school comprises of the most wonderful 5th grades K-6 located in South Philadelphia. Our school is a very diverse school where many students are English Language Learners, 40% of our school population are English Language Learners, and there are 15 different languages spoken at our school. Our school has a strong community that works endlessly for the benefit of our terrific students. Everyone from the principal, staff, 500 students, and their parents work together each day.
My Project
Please help our population of close to 450 students safe by ensuring they have ice available to them. In addition to ensuring they have ice handy, please help make sure our AED machine is properly equipped. We have three students who have heart conditions, making our AED machine essential as a prevention to their safety.
Making sure our school has an mini-fridge, working ice machine and supplies to maintain our AED machine will be a preventative measure for all 450 students of our school.
Ensuring our students with such safeguards is important for our students learning as well. If students feel safe, they will more ready to learn.
