My students need the Spanish version of Charlotte's Web by E.B. White for our whole class read.
This project expired on July 3, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
As a first-year teacher, I have the pleasure of working with 18 beautiful and bright bilingual students! My students are hard-working, responsible, and determined to succeed! Our school is a Title I school, which limits us to the resources available to us. Despite the challenges they face daily, our students come to school ready to learn.
My students LOVE to go on adventures by immersing themselves in books.
We are in a dual immersion classroom and feel so grateful to be able to learn in Spanish AND English everyday. My students know that their knowledge of two languages will benefit them in the long run. They also get so excited that they can read in both languages!
I want my students to know that anything is possible with hard work. My students are AVID! All of my students know that after high school, comes college! Please help us continue that motto by helping to enhance their literacy!
This book, "Charlotte's Web," or 'La Telaraña de Carlota' will greatly impact my students. My students love when we get to read aloud together. I know they will enjoy the classic story of two character who build a strong friendship.
Our school has limited resources, and one of those are class sets of Spanish chapter books.
Promoting literacy is so important, and these books would greatly benefit my bilingual students!
My students work hard everyday and read the books we do have. When the pages fall off our books, they ask for some tape to fix the book and get back to reading it. A new book in their hands would fill their eyes with joy.
Please help me introduce them to the tale of a wise spider and humble pig.
