Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are 7th graders in the heart of Northeast Texas. They come from diverse backgrounds from newcomers and English Language Learners to pre-AP and gifted students. They are very mature, hardworking, and just wonderful all round.
Due to the various cold and flu epidemics that affect students every year, I'd like to provide a healthier environment this school year by providing a more sanitary environment.
I am in need of more classroom sanitary supplies to prevent the spreading of germs which contribute to many absences during the school year. As you may know, resources are scarce for teachers, and we try to provide the best teaching environment for children we can.

My Project
These supplies will contribute to a healthy and germ-free classroom environment where students can work in a neat and clean space. Many of my students do not have the chance to learn how to keep a tidy and germ-free environment. These supplies will help them take charge of both their learning and their learning environment.
A clean classroom will not only contribute to learning but will give students pride and classroom ownership.
I believe that having a clean and clutter-free classroom is the key to having respect not only for one's self but also for one's learning and for one's school. Please, help me give my students a chance to take pride in their work and school.
