Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with bilingual students from 3rd grade through 5th grade level who struggles in regulating their emotions and feelings. My students work together as a team to encourage together to meet their goals.

My special education students have self-regulations goals and we are learning to use different tools to help them regulate.

For example:

We use timers to give them breaks and fidgets spinners to help increase their attention span in class.

By getting these fidget toys, magnetic letters, and stress balls my students will be motivated to meet the behavior goals and be successful in the classroom.
