Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work with 20 wonderful and inquisitive Pre-Kindergarten students in a very diverse school in Brooklyn, New York. We have children from many different cultures in our class and children with many special abilities.
Our Pre-K students love to learn new things daily!
For many of these children, it is their first year in school. They are learning about themselves, others, school rules, routines, and many new concepts in various subjects! They have many opportunities to explore what kind of learner they are and learn concepts in many different ways!
My Project
Pre-K kids love to learn through play everyday! Having a fun and interesting learning activity can help children understand concepts better and retain the information they learned.
My students are very interested in learning coding and would love to have the Botley Coding Robot and accessory bundle!
Having this robot will interest them in learning important STEM concepts through an engaging activity. Learning to code is an important skill children need to learn to move into the future of science, technology, engineering, and math learning. My students would love to learn with the Botley robot and I would love to teach them with it!
We greatly appreciate any help you can give towards getting a Botley Coding Robot for our class! Thank you!
