This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing and really want to learn as much as I want to teach them! My students are around 11 and 12 years old, most are from Latin America and receive free lunch. Our school is huge. We have over 1,000 students, and we lack all major resources. We go from Pre-K to 8th grade, with mono- and bilingual classes. Lastly, we are in the fourth largest city in our state. Thank you for reading about my students!

My Project

I am requesting two really simple items for our classroom. Yes, just two. We really need a lot of glue sticks- these glue sticks will be shared with everyone in the school that might need one. It would be such a great thing to have such an item. It is so basic, but so needed. Think about working on a project? What do almost all projects need? glue! yes!

The second and last item I am requesting is scissors, another basic item- once again- think about it again, what is the next major problem needed to complete projects?

Scissors! Yes!
