Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
A picture is worth a thousand words! I want my students to have the advantage of using pictures in their reports. My students need access to a color printer in the classroom.
Our school is a Title One school.
My students are in the second grade. They are hard working, enthusiastic and full of energy. I have 25 students with diverse needs and learning abilities. I want them to learn all about our Constitution, and how it helps our society. Having a printer in the classroom will allow my students to look for pictures they would like to include in their social studies reports.
My Project
My students will be able to conduct research about different social studies topics and include pictures to share with the class. They will also be typing their reports at the computer lab saving their work and printing it in class. I want my students to be able to read more about the constitution and make critical connections as it relates to their lives.
By helping us bring a printer in the classroom, you will be encouraging my students to learn about the constitution and how it is important in our society.
Our school does not provide printers for our students to print reports, and they have very limited access.
