Help me give my students the opportunity to explore through reading! I have included different levels of books to watch my students grow as active readers!

My Students

I have 12 students in my class this year and I am excited for what this year has in store! I want them to start the year ready to learn by giving them more opportunities to read in our student library. A lot of my students come from low income households where they are not given the opportunity to read about different topics to expand their knowledge. I want to give my students that opportunity by expanding my student library while also giving my students a chance to expand their knowledge on different topics and reading abilities!

My Project

The books selected on this project will give my students the chance to read about things they may not know about. I think that is very important since I have students that come from low-income households, there are just some things they do not know yet! This will expand my students' knowledge and love for reading! I want my students to enjoy what they read by giving them interesting topics to read and talk about while also building their vocabulary to advance their reading levels in the classroom. I am excited to get started, let’s get my students prepared to be life long readers!
