Help My Students Be Organized and Learn Independence
Help me give my students a neat and organized work space so they can exhibit independence and self direction. My intent is to provide my students with the ability to interact with technology items and have complete access.
In my school there are five preschool classrooms, with approximately 80 curious and creative kids who are ready to explore their interests. Preschool classrooms are comprised of both typically developing students and students with special needs. They are kind, devoted children who have so much love and inspiration to share with the world. They impress me every day with their willingness and excitement to learn and grow. Many of our students come from trouble homes and face hardships and challenges that no child should have to endure. However, despite the hardships that they face, they remain bright, hopeful inspirations. I strive to provide a safe haven for them, so that they can reach their academic, social, and emotional potential. I love seeing how excited they are to come to school and learn. Pre-k students learn through exploration and play. I want to make sure they are getting the best first school experience possible.
My Project
My project is an ongoing project that will help my students be more productive and interactive within the classroom setting. The items will provide them the opportunity to learn and exhibit some independence in their school setting by providing them the opportunity to do things for themselves instead of having to ask all the time for an adult to help. The materials for the project will help my student's work space be organized and fully accessible to them to work with and manipulate during project studies and activities. Developing independent work skills will provide them a good foundation for developing life skills. A life skills that all students need. By having the requested materials in the class student learning will increase and students will be more engaged and focused on learning new skills and daily living skills.
