I need a high volume multifunction printer that can help my students apply for college and financial aid without wasting their time waiting for dot matrix or easily jammed bubblejet printers.

I teach 12th grade math (Calculus, Pre-Calc and Algebra II) at a school in an urban, poverty stricken community.

The students are highly motivated for college but don't have the ability to print or prepare their applications at home.

My students need the ability to print, scan and fax from school. I need a high volume, multifunction printer that can help my students apply for college and financial aid without wasting their time waiting for dot matrix or easily jammed bubblejet printers. Many of them do not have computers, much less faxes and printers, at home. Every time a writing assignment, fafsa, or a college application is due at school, my room fills with students and I spend lots of time helping them print on old outdated printers which I have to feed one sheet at a time or unjam multiple times. I bring in old printers of my own and can sometimes make them function, but students frequently lose points on assignments and get their applications to college in late because of the lack of printer efficacy.

You will be personally responsible for more students at my school going to college. They will be more able to get their application materials together, and their grades will be higher because their essays will be in on time.
