My students need flocabulary to reinforce concepts through engaging raps. The CyberAcoustics Stereo Headsets will allow my students to use speech-to-text on their computers. The pillows are for flexible seating.
My students are low income military students. They have transitional lifestyles and many have difficulty focusing in class.
We have high instances of students with special needs because we are an exceptional family member location for the military.
Meaning, it replaces an overseas tour for our families. We are 100% military students.
They also deal with deployment of parents, parents with traumatic brain injuries, and emotional issues that other schools do not have to address. I love my kids! !
My Project
My students have many special needs. Flexible seating helps them to relax so that they can learn. Many of my students are unable to sit still for long periods of time and need flexible seating options.
Flocabulary helps assist the students by using engaging raps to learn concepts including "The Week in Rap" which gives weekly news in a rap.
The headsets with microphones assist my students with speech-to-text and writing on the computer. Students need to be able to get their thoughts down and are unable to type well. This helps the students feel successful and improves their writing.
