My Students

I teach the sweetest group of 1st graders! They are full of energy and desire to succeed. They work hard to achieve their goals. Several of my students are hesitant readers. Seeing lots of words on a page can seem intimidating to them. Several of my students need more engaging resources, visuals, activities etc. They would also benefit from reading skills resources, and decodable reading passages.

My Project

The Teachers Pay Teachers resources purchased will be used to provide students with engaging learning opportunities, visuals, classroom decor, motivational posters etc. I am especially interested in purchasing fun reading resources to help some of my reluctant readers get more practice and enjoy reading. These reading resources will be used daily for whole class instruction as well as for reading groups, reading centers etc. I am hoping having fun and engaging resources will help my students become more confident reader and that they will enjoy reading. Help me and my first graders get these fun resources!
