My students are in need of more opportunities to use technology in the classroom. We are implementing a Genius Hour, where all students are empowered to explore their own passions and later present what they have learned. They would greatly benefit from more technology to help them to research.
My students are wonderful third graders with a thirst for knowledge.
They are hard workers and push themselves to be successful. They are interested in learning information both at school and other topics they may stumble upon either through school or at home.
My Project
The students would greatly benefit from the iPads because we would add to the available technology. This group of third graders have started Genius Hour, where students are empowered to learn about something that interests them. Adding more technology would let more students use technology for research or planning their presentation. We will also be able to use more technology in academic times, as my class does not bring their own.
