Help My Class Fall in Love With Reading!

Help me give my students the gift of reading! My class is excited to study a novel together and will love having a classroom set of books!

My Students

My students love to read and love getting hooked on a good book! My students are inquisitive, voracious readers who are craving to do some novel studies together as a class. By contributing to my project you will provide my diverse class of 22 students the opportunity to read and study the same book together.

My Project

If my school goes remote, I plan on delivering books to my students' homes and doing virtual novel studies via Zoom or Temas. I will also post Canvas discussions so that my students can freely interact with each other and do book reviews. This will help my students grow as a community classroom, learn to communicate via teaching and by doing to help to support their social learning during times we can't be together in person. I believe reading can be a great source of comfort during trying times and that reading together will help my students to succeed.
