Help me give my students the supplies they and I need like student mailboxes, looseleaf paper, and markers in order to make our classroom experience a memorable and useful one.

My Project

These are everyday supplies that we don't have the funding for. I work with students who can't always afford the supplies they need and come to class without paper or a pencil. I have now loaned out all of my pencils and pens, and I'd really love to have a wonderful stress-free second half of the school year with them. The post-it notes will help me give them and myself reminders throughout the school day. The lined paper is used daily for classroom assignments. Often they don't bring any paper in their binders so this is a must. File folders help me store crucial information about each student. Laminating sheets will keep our important papers, cards and posters safe from the elements as we have no air conditioning and just open windows and doors. A desk calendar will ensure we are fulfilling all of our daily obligations in a timely manner. Highlighters will be used for my students to practice their close reading skills and to highlight key details and main ideas in the literature we read. My whiteboard markers are all dried up, and I desperately need more. My stapler just broke after so much use so that will be a blessing. Student mailboxes will allow me to organize and give out student work. Tape of all kinds is always useful on a day-to-day basis.

My goals for this project are to make my students feel safe and secure with a reliable and steady routine that includes everything to make it work.

A lot of them do not get this stability at home. My students are loving and caring, and I want to be there for them. Thank you!
