My math classroom is a busy, student centered learning environment. It is stimulating, vivid and soothing for all learners. My classroom feels like a small town; it is our home away from home.
My classroom can be loud and sometimes it is quiet; however, learning is always taking place.
I allow students to be themselves to discover their own math path. I work hard to help students to draw on what they learned in previous years of math instead of just giving them the correct answers.
My Project
Having a dedicated iPad in my classroom would help my kiddos to have a quick source of reference, help manage classroom activities, small group intervention, kinesthetic learners for movement, with help make connecting beyond the classroom and most important it can be a fun tool for the students as well.
An iPad would allow me to connect to the internet anywhere in my classroom where students may need assistance or just need an extension to their learning.
The iPad will be a great place for students to display their work for other students in the class to view all at once on the board. An iPad that engages and challenges my students minds in a creative way will allow them many opportunities to excel.
