Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school has been hit especially hard by COVID, and our 2021-2022 first grade class has had to do some major catching up this year. Our class of 30 first graders falls below benchmark in both literacy and mathmatical concepts.

The items requested for our classroom will help fill some of those academic gaps, through play activities.

Children learn best when they are actively involved, and the hands-on items such as the letter and number rockets let them play and learn at the same time. Learning can be fun!! Please help me make my classroom a fun learning environment for my students! Thank you so much for your support!
