As I start to wrap up my first year teaching in a kindergarten/first grade classroom, I am excited to announce that I will begin a new journey as a fourth grade teacher at a brand new elementary school in Sun Prairie.
My goal is to create an positive learning environment where all students learn through respect and opportunities to grow together as a community.
As a new teacher, the opportunity to further my own education for my students is one I do not want to miss out on. I hope to learn more about how to create a love of learning in my students.
By attending the Teach Your Heart Out conference, I would have the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest educators in our nation all about providing students with engaging and creative ways of learning. These educators are willing to teach us how to better provide all students with equal opportunities of success.
This would be a once in a lifetime chance for a new teacher to bring back innovative, research-based ideas to a school that is starting out brand new this Fall!
I would be attending workshops on technology integration, positive classroom engagement, building classroom community, and classroom differentiation. What an incredible time to collaborate with educators from all over the country to share ideas and create support systems!
