Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in my kindergarten classroom are simply incredible! They are amazing to watch learn and grow. My classroom focuses on meeting students' needs in a variety of ways. Majority of the student population in my district are of low socioeconomic status, so I try my very best to provide for them an educationally rich schooling experience. Others have difficult life situations, which brings distractions to their learning day.
In addition, this year I am teaching in a Special Education inclusion classroom.
It has been a challenge I have never experienced before but has been a pleasure and positive learning experience for me as a teacher thus far.
My Project
My goal is to use what I have learned and apply it to my students' daily learning. I'll come back with a plethora of new ideas that I can implement with my fantastic kindergarteners. Attending this conference will better equip me to help all of my students and their learning styles.
This two-day experience will allow me to attend various presentations that will be tailored to meet my specific teaching needs and my students' learning needs.
This conference will impact my students as they will receive a teacher who is refueled and eager to challenge their thinking. My students deserve to have an educator who is constantly growing in order to provide them the best possible educational experience.
