Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consists of 24 amazing students with many different personalities, most of whom are English learners. Each one is unique and brings in something special to our class. Living in a high poverty community, my kids face many challenges on a daily basis and yet they still come to school with a smile on their face.

Despite all that is happening, they know that our classroom is their safe place and aren't afraid to make mistakes.

My Project

I would love to have a classroom laminating machine and pouches to preserve my students' artwork, writing, and special projects. This machine will also help me laminate posters and other materials which I use in my daily small group instruction.

My students will most definitely enjoy seeing their work from the beginning of the year and be proud of how much they've grown.

Parents will also love to see how much their little ones are learning and improving with actually work samples. They will be able to keep and save their work for years to come.
