My Project

Hello, Donors,

Today I am requesting prizes and snacks to refill the prize and snack boxes for the third graders.

Prizes: The students get to choose a prize from the "prize box" each Friday if they were able to get at least 12 DOJO points a week for following our core values of RACE: Resiliency, Accountability, Cooperation, Empathy. All the positive things they do can fit into one of these categories. The students work really hard to get DOJO points and LOVE being rewarded and picking out their own prizes from the box. Usually on Fridays 2/3 of my students made their DOJO goal. (The Charm pops are part of the prize box).

Snacks: The snacks are given to the kids for several reasons. Sometimes they can choose a snack for a prize instead of a toy. Oftentimes the students come in late and breakfast is over, so they didn't have a chance to eat. Rather than wait until lunch I will give them a snack from the box. Sometimes they were rushed through lunch and couldn't eat all of their lunch, and they'll get a snack to hold them over until after school.
