Help me give my students more science related books! I currently have no books in my classroom that students can read for fun, and I have been asked many times if I have any science related books!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are full of energy and ready to explore the world they live in! Currently, in the KIPP Texas charter school district, 5th grade is a part of the middle school system (not the typical elementary school), so the students are experiencing the transition from being guided through life to now taking ownership of their actions and their own learning. A part of this change is the chance to dive into science! The science curriculum hasn't been a priority thus far through their elementary years, but now they get a whole 90 minutes every day of science learning! Hands-on projects and activities are the most exciting and foster the best learning environment for them. They love making connections from their previous life experiences to what they are learning in the classroom.
My students deserve all this world has to offer, and the supplies available at school should not limit their learning potential.
We are trying to build the best future for this world, and it starts our students and the classroom environment we can provide them with.
My Project
These books and fact games will help my class library get a head start! I currently have no books in my class that students can read for fun. Students at this age love science, and I would love for that love to grow and not die down as time goes by. One way I can do this is through their love for books/reading!
These future scientists want to read more about science on their own!
Let's make that happen! Students also learn best when they are having fun. These books and science fact games/interactive models will make learning enjoyable, thus they will remember the content so much more!
