I am inclusion teacher with a wonderful co-teacher in a classroom of 24 students. These students work incredibly hard with far less than their peers in the suburban districts.
We are in desperate need of headphones, I know, silly right!!
Sadly, we have only those that we buy out of pocket each year and is cost prohibitive at the personal/school/district level. Headphones that will last and provide access to our personalized blended programs in math and reading. Currently, our students must move around the room in an attempt to find a quiet location to listen to their programs and respond to the prompts.
Many students are incredibly frustrated by their lack of progress on their reading and math programs simply because they miss the audio cues they need to answer their questions correctly.
My Project
We have antiquated headphones that require adapters that do not last more than a few weeks and are extremely expensive. Our students are in need of high quality headphones that will allow them to hear their programs and progress in their academic skills!
