Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I love that my students are excited about learning! They are determined to do their best and give it their all! My school is made up of 90% African Americans from poor neighborhoods across the DC area. My students are growing up in a time that is imperative to their growth as our future generation. The need for Technology is important when used for the right things.

I remember growing up without access to the things I needed in school and struggling to understand what was being taught because I was an auditory learner.

Being able to access materials and create lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate is important to me.

My Project

This laptop will help me to create lesson plans for my students. My previous laptop crashed and I am without a device to complete my daily task to teach efficient lessons. Without this technology, I am stuck. It is very hard to replace these kinds of materials, but with your help I know that I can finish this school year off proudly.

I have been blessed to be able to educate these young scholars.

They will one day change the world and with my help they are destined for greatness! All of your help is greatly appreciated. Pre-K4 ROCKS! Thanks.
