My Students

I am a 6th to 8th grade teacher going on my 3rd year of teaching. I have my undergraduate degree in K-8 Education. I love coming to work every day and seeing how excited my students are about the many topics I teach. In the morning, I teach 6th-grade math, science, and social studies. After lunch, I move to the junior high part of our building to teach 7th and 8th-grade math.

Many of the students in my classroom are very energetic and willing to learn.

They are always excited to be doing projects and classroom activities. I try my hardest to find meaningful activities to keep them engaged and learning.

My Project

I am requesting the opportunity to attend a professional development conference on building a successful, engaging, and rigorous classroom. This conference will allow me to gain new strategies for teaching that I can implement in my classroom. I am confident that the knowledge I will gain from this conference will help me to become an even more passionate and enthusiastic teacher.

The knowledge gained from this unique experience will directly impact the success of my students.

Many of my students benefit from hands-on experience and this conference will allow me to add to my toolbox of strategies for teaching. Your generous donation will directly impact my students.
