I have a classroom full of young students that are just beginning to learn the magic of school. I want to promote an atmosphere that helps them keep the passion for learning while teaching them effectively. I want to create a loving environment where students feel secure. I am teaching at a Title I school so many of these students come from low income housing and are disadvantaged. I want to provide a classroom that is full of everything they deserve.

I have selected prizes that my students will be able to earn through hard work. For example, I would like to implement “Word Warriors” so when the student's pass off their site words they will become Word Warriors, at that point they will wear a cape for a day and receive a bubble wand. My favorite addition is Space Readers where we will use planets, space helmets and rockets to entice students to watch their reading grow throughout the year. The students will travel from planet to planet as they hit their goals..
