My students have special needs and other health impairments that impede their learning on a daily basis. Unfortunately, these struggles prove to be too much for the students, so they are easily frustrated and lack the motivation to learn.
Therefore, I never imagined when I left them in March that I would not get to see them for the rest of the school year!
My students need me to provide instruction on a daily basis to ensure all of their learning needs are being met.
My Project
Currently, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, my students are participating in distance learning. As a result, my school has moved to an online learning platform to support students' learning. Many of the online learning programs that would help support my students require a more updated laptop, specifically a screen sharing program that would allow me to share my screen and vice versa, so, learning can continue and I can provide immediate feedback and meaningful instruction.
Therefore, my students would benefit from this updated laptop, so I can share the screen to provide direct instruction to further enhance their online learning experience.
Also, I can utilize this updated laptop to conduct individual and small group meetings for students, who, are struggling academically and emotionally, as well, during these unprecedented times.
