I have 20 third grade students who are attending the first STEAM magnet school in our county. In my classroom, students schedule their day by choosing what, when, and how they would like to complete their learning. They learn about voice and choice and how to succeed through failing forward. My students have diverse learning styles and come from a variety of backgrounds, but they ALL enjoy using technology!
My students are all about hands-on experience and I'm ready to take them to the next level of engagement!
I love that they put their heart and soul into what they do, but it's my job to capture their heart first! My third graders are on their way to transform the world!
My Project
Get Your Teach On is a national conference with the most current research-based strategies that will bring my classroom to life! It is a one-of-a-kind experience for elementary school teachers that allow us to share our passion and enthusiasm for education. This opportunity will allow me to learn from dedicated educators that are masters at what they do. I will learn the different tips, tricks, best practices, and teacher secrets to building a successful and engaging classroom that my students want to come to every day. Student engagement is a top priority and having the opportunity to learn from the best of the best will continue to help my students to grow. My learning experience from this conference will help provide rigorous activities and engagement for all students. This will help provide a challenging, but engaging environment for learning.
