My Students

My classroom has a very diverse group of enthusiastic learners! They come from different backgrounds, and they have different needs. One student has visual impairment so I need to provide a large font for her to be able to read. Several other students need support for school supplies and food. But one thing in common is that they love to learn!

In my school, they use Chinese and English to learn subjects such as math, reading, science, and art.

Our goal is to prepare them with creativity and opened-mind, to be ready for the technological society in the 21st Century.

My Project

I am a lifelong learner, and learning is always the joy of my life. Being a teacher, I have used this as my strength as teachers always learning. As I learned about the National Board Certified Teacher program, I knew I have to do this. My students deserve to be taught by an accomplished, effective, and highly professional teacher, and I am determined to become one. My quest to National Board certification will substantially help my current and future students by enhancing my teaching practice. With this qualification, I will be able to continue to be the best educator I can be, helping my students become lifelong learners, benefitting their families and the learning community.
